【引言】

近日，斯坦福大学科学家发布了一份全球Top 2%科研人员榜单的研究，来自马里兰大学史密斯商学院的18名学者和科学家位列其中，该研究主要以每位科研人员在其子学科内的综合引用指数进行排名，提供了一个面向科研人员长期科研表现的衡量指标，能够更客观、更真实的反映科学家的影响力。

该研究发表在《PLoS Biology》杂志上，它调研了22个科学领域和176个子领域，并根据排名者所发表的学术文献在其他的研究报告中被引用的次数来对科研人员的职业生涯影响进行了排名。这项研究是由美国斯坦福大学（Stanford University）领导的，基于Elsevier的Scopus（研究出版物的摘要和引文数据库）中的数据。
